Our Story
De Natura Foundation was born in a season of challenge and reflection, when the pace of life and the noise of the world made it too easy to lose sight of what really matters. In that space, time spent in nature—quiet mornings by the river, the slow passing of seasons, the simple act of noticing—became a way to reset, think clearly, and reconnect. What started as a personal search for perspective grew into a commitment to share that clarity with others, creating a place where curiosity, creativity, and awareness can thrive, especially for those who need it most..
Our Programs
Community Nature Days
Monthly open events for families to experience nature connection activities, storytelling circles, and collaborative art projects that strengthen community bonds and ecological awareness. Participants also develop a personal nature journaling practice, combining mindfulness techniques, artistic expression, and scientific observation. Participants learn to slow down, observe deeply, and document their relationship with the natural world.
Parent/Youth Summer Retreats
Weekend and week-long immersive experiences that challenge teens to disconnect from technology and reconnect with themselves and the natural world. Combining challenging outdoor adventures with reflective practices and group dialogue.
Wellness Walks
Guided therapeutic experiences based on the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) that invite participants to slow down and engage mindfully with nature through all five senses. Led by trained guides, these walks help reduce stress, improve mental clarity, boost immune function, and restore emotional balance through a deep sensory connection with the forest environment. Our structured yet gentle approach includes invitations for nature connection, quiet contemplation, and group sharing—creating space for personal insight and healing through the power of nature.
